Sony unveils PlayStation 4 game console
The Verge: Sony announced its new console, the PlayStation 4, at an event in New York on Wednesday.
The new system will utilize the DualShock 4 controller with a touchpad, sharing capability, and lightbar. Users will be able to suspend and restart play just by pressing the power button on the PlayStation 4, ending long boot times.

Pemex: 14 dead, 80 injured after explosion
AP: Pemex reports 14 people were killed and 80 injured after an explosion at the state-owned oil company’s headquarters in Mexico City.
There are also reports of people trapped in the debris from the blast. No immediate cause was given for the explosion.

Venezuelan Poodle Moth
The Venezuelan poodle moth was first captured on film by Dr. Arthur Anker of Bishkek, Krgyzstan, who posted all 75 photographs of his time at the Gran Sabana National Park on Flickr. His trip to the Venezuelan park didn’t gain much fame at the time. However, another researcher, Dr. Karl Shuker, saw a picture of the fuzzy little critter online and took interest. It was found that not only is this a new species of moth, but it may very well be an entirely new species of insect altogether.
Also, it cries out for thought balloons, of the OFF, I AM PONDERING THE MEANING OF LIFE variety.
